About SonFest Southport Music Festival
SonFest Southport Music Festival was first held in September 2014 in the heart of Southport’s town centre at the bandstand. During our third year, SonFest Southport was moved to King’s Gardens, on the Promenade, across from The Royal Clifton Hotel.
Come and join us on Saturday, 16th July 2022

The festival was created to present the life-giving, life-changing message of Jesus Christ through live music and offers a day filled with free, awesome live music of a variety of styles from jazz to indie, to alternative and to gospel; we strive to offer something for everyone.
It is my personal belief that words change lives – especially words of love, hope, forgiveness and grace. It is also my belief that music has the potential to be “social glue” that brings people together. We trust the music and words we share at SonFest Southport will touch and change lives for the better.
Held annually, SonFest Southport is and will always be a free event, supported by local churches and and businesses, as a gift to the community. SonFest Southport’s title sponsor, Fill the Gap Concerts, based in North Carolina, U.S.A., came to us in the very beginning through a common vision of sharing God’s love through live music. SonFest Southport and Fill the Gap Concerts enjoy a tremendous partnership and we welcome others who share this vision to get involved through either practical or prayerful support. Our prayer is to introduce people to the life-giving, life-changing message of Jesus Christ.
